Acting as a consultant within the firm’s Assurance practice, Maurice has over 45 years of experience in assurance, accounting and auditing standards and their practical application. During these years, he has provided services to companies operating mainly in the manufacturing, distribution, not-for-profit and professional services sectors. His experience also includes consulting in the context of reorganizations, acquisitions, sales and financing of businesses as well as due diligent mandates in the context of business acquisitions and sales. His professionalism, leadership, business acumen and determination have led him to manage the large-scale mandates for which he is renowned and which have already allowed him to become a partner of one of the largest firms of chartered professional accountants in the world.

On the strength of his experience, he has been actively involved in the development of his profession, sitting on various boards of directors. In 2014, he won the CPA Émérite award from the Québec CPA Order, which recognizes the determination, dynamism and contribution of members who have distinguished themselves through their achievements or who have been able to meet challenges on both the professional and community levels.
